Backcountry Camp

Dates: March 19th-22nd 2026
Price: $2450
We couldn't be more excited to combine forces with the Backcountry Baddies and Addy Jacobsend to offer this incredible camp!
For 4 Days and 3 nights you will stay in the Smith and Morehouse yurt which was built in 2024 in the heart of ski terrain.
These 4 days and 3 nights are all about you becoming the backcountry skier you desire to be. Our team is dedicated to helping you achieve your goals and support and mentor you through the process. From assessing a spring-time snowpack to setting a consistent up track our team of certified and experienced guides are there to walk you through the skills necessary for stepping into more remote locations with confidence.
From the moment we get to the trailhead you know this is the real deal as we load up your snowmobile which you will drive to your very own backcountry yurt. This isn't any yurt, this is The Smith and Morehouse Yurt that is adorned with all the comforts of a backcountry lodge, plus a wood burning stove. There are no other structures around and the options for ski touring are pretty much limitless.
All you have to do is show up ready to learn and have fun and we’ll take care of the rest.
This program is open to all women (trans and cis-gender) as well as non-binary people who identify with the women’s community.

Logistics
TheSlay-Dees Camp is about creating a community of women who can support and foster one another.
During our time together all participants share down-time together where they can practice newly acquired skills and sit in on basecamp skills sessions together. During the day our Camp is in the field applying skills and bagging sweat ski objectives.
If needed the participants may be split into groups to achieve specific objectives or move at a particular pace.
