About us

Locals who love sharing these mountains

Inspired Summit has been locally owned in Park City since 2012. We’re a small crew of guides, teachers and mentors who live, ski and climb here, and we’d love to show you around.

Tell us what you’re dreaming of, even if it’s still fuzzy. We’ll build the trip around you: the terrain, the pace, your people, the food. Most of our guests come back year after year, and somewhere along the way they stop feeling like guests.

You’re in good hands

Our guides are AMGA-trained and we’re a certified AIARE avalanche education provider. That’s the part you won’t see, and it’s why you can relax and enjoy the part you will: the snow, the views, the laughs over lunch.

We keep groups small, three guests per guide or fewer on most trips, so your guide is watching out for you, not a crowd. You’ll be pushed just enough to feel the thrill, and never so far that it stops being fun.

We built Utah’s first year-round hut system

Together with the US Forest Service, we built the Uinta Hut System: connected backcountry yurts you can visit in any season. Three of the four planned yurts are open now, and the fourth arrives in summer 2027.

In winter, we snowmobile you in, cook every meal and ski with you all day. In summer, the yurts become a cozy basecamp for hiking, paddling and slow mornings by the lake. Either way, nobody leaves hungry.

Part of the Park City community

We’re active members of Park City’s outdoor community. We teach avalanche safety, mentor the next generation of backcountry skiers, and run SlayDees, a season-long backcountry program for women.

We care for these mountains the way we’d care for a friend: sustainable gear and practices, leaving every place better than we found it, and giving back to the people and causes that keep it wild. When you head out with us, you’re part of that too.
