Yurt-Based AIARE

Wake up in one of our yurts and step out the door into your field day: more time learning in the snow, less time in the car. This immersive experience gives you the most time learning and applying skills in a dynamic environment.

Fully immerse yourself in your backcountry education. Our yurt-based 3-day, 2-night avalanche courses are designed to maximize your time in the field.

Based in the western Uintas, the Uinta Hut System yurts are our gateway and basecamp to an untouched and remote classroom. Breakfast and dinner are included, as is a snowmobile “bump” into the yurt and when appropriate during the course.
