Slay-DEES:
Advanced Backcountry Ski Camp

This is the Ultimate Backcountry Ski Camp

The Slay-Dees Ski Mountaineering Camp will take your backcountry skills to the next level. No we aren’t able to see city lights from the summit of our peaks. This is the Uintas, where remote lines rarely (if ever) get skied and the summits offer a sea of peaks as far as the eye can see.

These 4 days and 3 nights are all about you becoming the backcountry skier you desire to be. Our team is dedicated to helping you achieve your goals and support and mentor you through the process. From assessing a spring-time snowpack to setting a consistent up track our team of certified and experienced guides are there to walk you through the skills necessary for stepping into more remote locations with confidence. The Summit Ski Mountaineering camp is about taking you further, and giving you the skills to excel in remote and committing terrain.

From the moment we get to the trailhead you know this is the real deal as we load up your snowmobile which you will drive 6 miles and 2000' to your very own backcountry yurt.  This isn't any yurt, this is The Castle Peak Yurt that is adorned with all the comforts of a backcountry lodge, plus a wood burning barrel sauna. There are no other structures around and the options for ski touring are pretty much limitless.

All you have to do is show up ready to learn and have fun and we’ll take care of the rest.

WHAT DO OUR CLIENTS SAY?

“Inspired Summit is hands down the best guiding company around. Not only are the guides experts in mountain skills who know all the super secret locals-only spots, they are the type of people who you want to grab a beer with at the end of the day.”
