Our 24-foot yurts are 100% solar-powered and feature wood-burning stoves and full kitchens. To maintain a zero-impact footprint in this fragile ecosystem, we utilize WAG Bag toilet systems—there are no pit or flush toilets on-site. We pack out all waste to ensure the land remains undisturbed.

The Castle Peak Yurt
Elevation: 9,800 ft | Environment: High Alpine Ridge

Backcountry Access: This remote location is accessed via 6 miles of rugged 4x4 road. To ensure a seamless arrival, Inspired Summit provides all necessary backcountry transportation from the staging area to the yurt.

Wood-Burning Barrel Sauna: A cornerstone of the Castle Peak experience, our traditional wood-fired sauna provides deep heat therapy. It serves as a powerful tool for muscle recovery and nervous system reset after a day of high-altitude movement.

Expanded Lodging: This location offers space for tent camping on the grounds, allowing guests to utilize their own tents while having full access to yurt amenities and the sauna.

Terrain: Immediate access to high-altitude hiking, technical rock climbing, and ancient glacial basins.
Smith and Morehouse Yurt
Elevation: 7,600 ft | Environment: Riparian / Lakeside Forest

Waterfront Access: Located adjacent to Smith and Morehouse Creek, with the reservoir shoreline just 50 yards from the deck. This proximity allows for seamless access to paddleboarding, swimming, and fishing.

Yurt-Only Accommodations: To protect the delicate riparian ecosystem and maintain the site's footprint, no tent camping is permitted on the grounds at Smith and Morehouse. All guests must stay within the yurt structure.

Accessibility: This location is a fully ADA-accessible backcountry facility, designed to provide high-quality wilderness immersion with minimal barriers to entry.
Logistics, Sleeping & Capacity
Sleeping Configuration: Both yurts accommodate 7 individuals in single beds, or up to 10 guests if sharing (3 couples on double beds and 4 individuals on singles). This is achieved through a specific configuration of bunk beds and convertible futons.
Universal Yurt Standards:
