Weston, born to a family of ski patrollers, spent every weekend playing in the snow. A 

love of the outdoors was instilled early with annual trips to Wyoming and family trips that 

explored much of the west. After completing a degree in sports management from SUNY 

Cortland, he moved to Utah. There he began his pursuit of a career as a professional 

skier.
