FAQ
What level of skiing/riding ability do I have to be?
Skiers and snowboarders should be an intermediate level of skiing and physical condition to participate in this adventure. Skiers do not need to have any previous backcountry experience. We’ll scale the objectives based on conditions and rider’s ability. This is for people who want to get away from it all and see the most pristine side of the Uintas.
How do I know this experience is for me?
If you’re an individual or group (up to 6 people), who wants a full-on adventure in the backcountry, this adventure is for you. The thrill of riding a snowmobile and skinning uphill excites you. The thought of spending the night in a backcountry hut makes you giddy. You're ready to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of life and explore lesser traveled paths with the assistance of guides who know the best spots and hidden secrets. This is a multi day, full adventure, and an insane amount of fun.
What is the minimum/maximum group size?
Minimum of 2 person; maximum 8 people. Individual overnights available call for rates.
How soon should I book?
The Yurt books out well in advance with private groups. Weekends during the high season (January-March) fill up months in advance. Week days have more last minute availability, but still are busy during the high season. So what are you waiting for? Book now!
